As part of our MFA program at the Glasgow School of Art, we took part in an exchange with the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. Group shows were held in both cities at the Glue Factory and the Institute for Contemporary Art & Transfer. The one specification we had for the show was that the work had to fit within the airline’s luggage allowance. I documented the portable water fountain in each city, noting the commonality of weather between Glasgow and Hamburg.
